Football ITK and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has reported that West Ham are working hard on two transfers, with one of them being Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The second player Tim Steidten is negotiating for is a replacement central defender for outgoing Kurt Zouma. The Hammers’ Director of Football has drawn up a shortlist of two candidates to replace him.
The Wan-Bissaka claim comes despite breaking news last night suggesting that the Hammers had shifted their focus to Girona wonderkid Arnau Martínez.
The Italian journalist said this morning, “As of today, West Ham will be busy working on Aaron Wan-Bissaka.”
Whether this means the Irons will be working doubly hard to finalise the Wan-Bissaka deal remains to be seen, but it is clear that the club are struggling to negotiate with Manchester United—a recurring issue.
Head coach Julen Lopetegui is keen to hurry-up the resolution of the right-back position, which is clearly becoming a significant problem.
Just tell Manchester United to shove it and walk away. I have no idea if Martinez is good or not, but he’s younger and cheaper, so seems like a better option. Coufal has got at least one more season in him, doesn’t he?

Man Utd seem to be playing games with us I would tell them that we are no longer interested in AWB and move on to another option that would be a real kick in the teeth for them as the player they want to sign will be a non starter to loin them I think we should just tell Man Utd that either the deal is done today or we move on to someone else give them a take it or leave it ultimatum

It seems that it’s AWB himself playing games as he hasn’t asked for a transfer and will be available on a Bosman in 12 months so is saying i’ll go if you want but pay me the sogning on fee a new club would when i’m free……which he reckons is £7 million not the reported £3 million!!
As good a signing awb would be it’s surely time to move on and find an alternative???
Give them 24 hours to get their house in order, settle up with AWB, and agree a sale with us. Then walk away, as they will be chasing Tim grabbing at his shirt tails to then get a deal done

This is the third pre-season running we have had transfer saga with them. They can shove Wan Basaka, l am not convinced he wants to come to us. Just like big head Maguire l am sure he thinks he is to good for West Ham. The arrogance of the Mancs is nauseating. Move on Loppy!
Move on from AWB, enough energy wasted already! Southampton would be out of their minds to pay 6 million for Ings! We can’t give the man away, we are stuck with him for another season, just take it on the chin and learn from these terrible signings! The fact we might get to off-load Zouma is a real bonus, ill take that.
