ITK Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Hammers striker target.
As Claret and Hugh revealed several days ago David Sullivan and Tim Stiedten are locked into finding a new front man but will be challenged by many clubs for the apparent No 1 choice Dominic Solanke.
And whilst Romano has revealed that he too knows that to be the case he has again explained the player is happy where he is and in no desperate hurry to leave the south coast.
The striker was again on the score sheet at Manchester United yesterday (Sat) in the club’s amazing 3-0 defeat of Manchester United, taking his total for the season so far to nine.
He is clearly the sort of striker the club requires and is priced at a meagre €20 million @Dominic Solanke – Player profile 23/24 | Transfermarkt.
That would appear to be well wide of the mark and it would come as no surprise were The Cherries to be putting a £70 million price tag on him.
Commenting on the situation in his Daily Briefing Romano declares:
“Dominic Solanke’s fine recent form continues as he scored in a memorable 3-0 win for Bournemouth away to Manchester United yesterday.
“I’ve been impressed with him this season as he always looked like an excellent player with great potential, but he’s now showing it more consistently.
“In terms of a transfer, he’s happy at Bournemouth but many clubs are tracking him, including West Ham. Let’s see what will happen, but for the moment I understand he’s happy there and performing very well.”
