Transfer insider, journalist, and friend of Tim Steidten, Fabrizio Romano, updated his Twitter (X) profile this afternoon with news about concrete transfer interest in Max Kilman from the Hammers.
It should be noted that Romano was first to break details of Mohammed Kudus, Edson Alvarez and Luis Guilherme’s transfers to West Ham and is very well connected.
The Italian journalist has revealed that £45m defender Max Kilman is indeed wanted by West Ham following months of speculation.
“Understand West Ham are showing concrete interest in Max Kilman, centre back who’s highly rated by Julen Lopetegui,” Romano wrote.
“Not an easy deal as Wolves want to keep him, but West Ham are now exploring this option, contacts started.”
Lopetegui worked with Kilman during his stint at Wolves, so it could be a pretty straightforward deal on the player’s side, and it is believed that the defender is keen on the move. Kilman arguably enjoyed his best form for Wolverhampton Wanderers under the new Hammers head coach.
West Ham revealed to Claret & Hugh last month that two central defenders were high on the club’s priority list. It has also been revealed that the Hammers would be willing to entertain offers for captain Kurt Zouma.
sad man
So one kid signed and probably 2 free transfers just as i predicted west ham no ambition whatsoever so to all fans be prepared for a relegation dog fight that we will possibly not survive, im just waiting for the widow twanky to be signed up now. Then all of our transfer dealings will be complete you can quote me on what I’ve, already stated before a total of 4 signings only and i said most would be free transfers and i have no pretentious of being in the so called know.
that’s it – look on the bright side – idiot
