The Olympic Stadium will again host a rugby league match in this year’s Four Nations tournament three months after West Ham move in.
England, Scotland, New Zealand and Australia will contest the tournament, which will be broadcast by the BBC. The former Olympic Stadium in London has chosen as a venue, with England taking on Australia there in the final group match on Sunday, 13th November 2016.
New Zealand beat England at the Olympic Stadium last November, the first rugby league match to be played at the venue. “Playing at iconic venues such as Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Anfield is one of the reasons we play the game,” said England captain Sean O’Loughlin.
“Walking out in front of 45,000 fans in London was one of the highlights of 2015 for me and I am sure that playing in front of big home crowds will push the team on to what will hopefully be a successful campaign.”

I thought at first glance Rugbyirons was back.
Will they pay for their goalposts and cornerflags ? The heating ? The policing ?
All those white lines chalked on the pitch for rugby ?
As apparently as a tenant you should have to pay for these yourself and also pay rent on top of that…
Exactly Sean. Which is why the details should never have been disclosed. Now every one has a yard stick. This can only cost the tax payer. Thanks Cast and all the other sad f##ks. You have managed to achieve the exact opposite to what you claim you were after. Sad losers just made yourself sadder and the people you claim to be speaking for, much worse off.Congratulations!
I am sure Rugby will say why should they pay more than £100,000 per day that West Ham are paying
Presumably the busybody supporters who resent us having the stadium will be demanding to know all the details regarding payment by the Rugby League. Otherwise it makes them seem like bitter, jealous tossers rather than the concerned tax payers they claim to be.
