|

greenThe orange athletics running track at London Stadium has finally been covered today using a light green Astro turf but West Ham vice chairman Karren Brady insists the light green covering is only temporary surface and a better solution matched to the pitch colour will be in place before West Ham kick off their Premier League season against Bournemouth on Sunday 21st August.

Asked by a West Ham supporterĀ “What is with the green stuff pitch side?” Brady replied on his personal twitter Temporary Astroturf, new and better will be installed for first Premier League game”

Asked by another supporter “Why is the Astroturf so bright? Would be better darker to match pitch” Brady repliedĀ  “It will be this is just temporary – finished product will be in for first PL match”
