Sad news as Hammers fan passes away

Our friends over at Hammers Chat have announced a sad update on Saturday that the Hammers fan who suffered a heart attack on their boats before the Crystal Palace has passed away over the weekend.

Hammers Chat posted a message to day “Unfortunately it’s sad news, earlier on today Dan passed away after a big fight. Our thoughts are with Dan’s family x. Thank you to everyone who’s asked about Dan since last weekend and passed on their best wishes, it’s been much appreciated by his family and friends.”

A Go fund me page has been setup to purchase a Defibrillator Machine for the boats.

The fund raising page says “On our pre match event boat, prior to the Crystal Palace game, one of our guests suffered a heart attack. We are raising funds in order to purchase a defibrillator machine on the boats and we will also be organising for CPR and defibrillator training for anyone that wishes to attend, for free.”
