Sakho “bust-up” – the truth!

|

SakhoConfirmation the alleged  bust-up involving Diafra Sakho and David Moyes has been  fabricated has been received by ClaretandHugh.

There remains no question that the player wants out in January but the stories surrounding his alleged problems with David Moyes yesterday remain fiction!

After asking more questions we have discovered that there’s agent activity going on here as there was when the striker rushed off for an ill fated medical at Rennes in the summer.

The Daily Mail wrongly suggested “the striker said he no longer wanted to play and wanted to go home but was persuaded to stay and take his place among the substitutes”

A club insider has told ClaretandHugh emphatically declared the 27-year-old knew 24 hours in advance he would not be e on the bench as the striker knows he is still not fully match fit.

The source says also added that the quoted £50,000 per game apparance money clause in Sakho’s contract as part of a new deal has also been widely exaggerated.

As revealed in October by Claret and Hugh, Sakho is on a basic wage of £33,000 a week with appearance bonuses of £30,000 for a start and £15,000 should he find himself on the bench.

Sakho came on as a 65th-minute substitute last night and he has a very good chance starting up front on Saturday as the Hammers face Newcastle.

Sakho is the only recognised striker we have. Or, that Moyes will play, because Chicharito is out of the frame. Not blaming Moyes solely in this; when a player feels they’ve been cut out by a manager they do not relish the thought of meeting up with them again. This is a ‘takes-two-to-tango’ situation.

Forget the smoke screen and the falling out with Moyes malarkey; the Bro wants out. Has done for a long time: let him go. And there’s Carroll, Collins, Chicharito, Fernandes, and Byram who can keep him company. Their sale would generate new money for signing two strikers, a midfielder, a centre back and a right sided wing-back if we are to push on to safety. The bottom end is exceptionally concertina’d with only Swansea looking truly vulnerable at this stage.

Maybe if you play him he would be match fit ? So why play the pea who is also not match fit after injury ? Theres more to it than that ! And add the media bolloxx we appear to be enemy number one across the board. Add to that the bias spuds and mancs on motd and then we can add sugo and their bull💩 to stoke things up bit more. There’s not a club in the country that gets the negative attention like ours ? That’s how it feels anyway so it must be true IMO.😕

Made a lot note sense to play Sahko & Chic to start then Ayew & Chic 2 poachers & 1 not a CF at all.
I have said it & will say it again if we can keep Sahko & get him to stay sign new contract I would bc he is ago of CF but he wants to play.
Rather have him play over AC honestly

  • FUGMASTER says:

Sakho wants out , that is blindingly obvious, so why do we persist in playing him ; play someone who wants to play for the club, and is willing to put in a shift. Still early days for Moyes and his preferred / best team formation, but he really now has to stop using this bloke!!

Ruff. You have to be realistic. No one will buy Carroll because of his fitness record together with his wage demands. We are stuck with him. Fernandez needs an ankle op. So no one will buy him until that is sorted and in any case he can develop into a fine midfielder _ not sure he is one to offload. Collins will not fetch much. And why sell Byram, a young fullback with tons of potential who can learn much from Zabaletta. Finally, Sakho is still a fine striker when his head is straight and he is serviced by a creative mid-fielder. No, our only hope is for the owners to spend some of the tens of millions revenue generated by tv sales and fork out for a top quality striker, a creative mid-fielder to back up Lanzini and a centre back/holding mid-fielder. But yes, Sakho should be allowed to leave in January along with Ayew and Chico if he so wishes.

Sakho is class, a top player. We should do everything in our power to keep him until at least the summer. For me I would also like to keep Chico and the two I would release are Carroll and Ayew. I would also release Hernandez and Byran. Back to Sakho – assuming he is fit enough, I would love to see him starting against Newcastle with Antonio moving to the right side and Arnie filling in for Lanzini. Then bring Chico on up top in a 3-5-2 if we need more firepower.

    • JRS says:

Actually think Chic & Sahko up front would make a good pair but we have got to see them tigehter for 10mins and they did well. Chic set Sakho up should scored in Stoke game & Chic is a finisher.
But I will have to get game time too & front 2 suits him but he will get unhappy.

and we finally have fit strikers! But aren’t starting them

  • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

Agree with Kenny if the contract talk is true I suspect his contract has more to do with why he isn’t starting than his fitness, his attitude seems off and he looks like he wants out, I am one of his fans as a player we should try to find a carbon copy of his style in our next striker acquisition preferably with a great attitude and fitness record.

  • Ruffellite says:

Fair cop Kenny! Never been one to allow idealism to win over realism. I agree with you about fitness and sale. The open goal Sakho missed at the Etihad in the last moments of that defeat spoke volumes for his disposition: it sucks. Sakho is a talented striker, no doubt. He just doesn’t want to ply his talents in claret and blue. Byram is a promising young player, injury prone for sure, and he might develop. My desire to see players offloaded is probably fuelled by the tightness of the table outside the top 6-8 this season and a view – hope I’m mistaken in this – that Moyes’ moment in the sunshine could ‘cloud over’ at any moment. Strengthen now is my plea.
