Interesting stats on sky this morning ?
Sakho has scored 15 and berahino has scored 16 , but its taken berahino 25 more games to score 1 more goal ? Sakho also has a 3 /1 advantage in assists as well !
You can’t even compare his work rate either ? 16 mill sakho ? 20 mill berahino ?
Pupils rubbing his hands together or what ?
I don’t think this is good buisness regardless of the profit ! All eyes on calleri then at 40k a week , if ayew comes on board for 20mill and 70 k a week , strange buisness IMO ,
Sounds like an expensive strop to me !
Are we going to keep Valencia ?
Who is going to be the Marquis striker ! Big statement not delivered yet , hope he can but were struggling at the moment , sane just gone to city , bony may be available ?
    He is a 20+ man !!

You donot have a clue, do you? Berahino scored 20 goals in 45 games in 2014-15.

I dont know why you adore Sakho and Valencia so much. They are probably our worst players. Both Ayew and Calleri are miles ahead of Sakho and Valencia.. Come out of your closet.

I guess you’re talking about the Premier league. Berahino had breakthrough season in 14-15. So you wouldn’t count 13-14, will you ? Last season he had a spat with the board and was not impressive but still scored the same number of goals as Sakho.

You dumb Muppet .? It was sky who made the comparison , what a tossa ??
Go do one troll , sky got it spot on prikkkk !!
Were getting some right thick mugs on here lately ??
    Respect the point nobby ?

It’s all a little sad really, Sakho was the ‘crossed irons’ man, playing for the shirt, or so it seemed, like to know exactly what happened. Assume a Bilic fall out, just hope we arn’t saying the same about Antonio this time next year….

    • Fish N Chips says:

Hi Pops….(Did you know that for nearly 50% of Pop’s career, he was top scorer for whichever club he was at, at that time?).
Sakho openly admitted that he played for his own career as opposed to the team; indeed there is a video of him advising the youngsters of such. He was NOT at heart a team player; playing for the team was only on the cards if it was convenient for him…just like the crossed hammer arms etc. I’m sure there are many players like that…like politicians!
Sure he is a good player, but never had the heart of Bonds or Trev etc – not even close. Maybe they could have raised his wages, but he also had some serious off field issues…
I’m not that sorry to see his sour face leave… He’ll probably do a Diame score against us!

  • johnboy says:

Yes pop it is sad ! Best everyone move on as we were getting at each others throats! Lol.
Its a question of getting behind who we end up with as we have always done , I think we are all expecting far to much far to quickly !
I thought when Bilic came that it would take three years to properly achieve his goal !
Having such a great season last year has made everyone over optimistic , but he will have a better idea now he’s got that under his belt ! Like every year I’ve been coming I still think we will get to Wembley , its what we do ain’t it !
You never know what’s around the corner ! This season is no different !!
    COYI!!!!!!S

Goodness sake all this *****ing arguing I’ve avoided any transfer debate. . TBH Sakho is going cuz he had a paddy or disagreement with manager let it go NO 1 PLAYER WILL EVER BE BIGGER THAN A CLUB

  • JB says:

All I will say on this Diafra saga is this…look where he is going..is a player that is allegedly so good in some eyes only able to get a gig at WBA? Says all you need to know imo

  • Stan The Man says:

Barcelona are ok for strikers JB otherwise I’m sure he would have rocked up there.Instead he has had to take his second option,a relegation dogfight team lol

I can see both sides of the argument, Sahko is a good player, he has had a bit of bad luck with injuries, and I can see his wages do not compare with the likes of Carroll. However, he can be disruptive, as can Berahino, hence, we are not interested in doing a swap for him. (Frying pan & fire spring to mind !) If it was my choice, I would try to keep Sahko, and calm him down (offer him more money maybe, I don’t know, the details or, why he’s so upset are not clear it may be Slav just doesn’t like his attitude), and I would jettison Valencia. He isn’t and never was a £15 Million player. Odd flashes here and there but no where near consistent enough to be a first choice.

Lets hope he passes the medical then we can put this one to bed 🙂 then if we secure Ayew Valencia will also be off and we will still be look for the supposed Marquee striker, they may aswell just buy someone thats as big as a circus tent because thats probably the only marquee striker we are likely to sign this window 😉

  • Fish N Chips says:

I bet Sakho’s wages sky rocket at West Brom.
