Sakho gets special attention

diafra-sakho-west-hamDiafra Sakho is understood to be receiving the special attention of the Hammers new head of medicine Gary Lewin as intensive pre-season training approaches.

The injury stricken striker has returned with Andy Carroll for the opening days of the campaign and will travel to Austria as the serious work starts.

Both players have received positive reports from club insiders but not unnaturally Lewin will be looking closely at the Senegal striker special attention after his playing record of 21 appearances in the last two seasons.

He has scored eight times in those games showing his importance to the team when he is fully fit.

We were told: “Sakho knows this is a huge make or break season for him and was on a training regime during the summer break. ”

Andy Carroll is reported to have returned in decent shape but the Hammers are continuing to search high and low for at least two more strikers with Andre Gray in the frame along with Javier Hernandez and Michy Batshuayi

  1. Diafra’s back!

    (The definition of ambiguity)

  2. Give Diafra Sakho a decent go and he will reward us, big time!
He is a proven 1 in 3 striker..
Lewin will look after Diafra’s back!
Time for Diafra to receive an improved contract!
    COYI

  3. If only!

The real irony is that if Sakho and Carroll are fully fit and can stay fully fit, we don’t really need all these strikers we’re being linked with.

  4. Yes. Still would need one. And if Lewin can get AC and Sahko fit he is a miracle worker. And stay fit. I have heard that sahko is for and ready before and nothing happens. But this season if he is fit he has to show up to help save his football career.
I’m not sure AC will ever be fully fit his best role may be as impact Sub

  5. Bless him! Let’s treat him to a memory foam mattress topper a orthopaedic pillow and a daily massage from a Swedish masseur named Ingrid eh πŸ˜€πŸ˜€While we’re at it let’s send the Poppodom to a spa and give him a Toni and Guy voucherπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    • Does that include the rinse and manacure GW πŸ™‚ maybe a good waxing of his crack might liven him up πŸ™‚

      • Having his crack waxed is far too near his brittle groin Laz πŸ˜€ He’d be out for another 6 months with a rectum strain πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

        • πŸ™‚ good point ,better tell them to not use the cucumber then πŸ™‚ don’t want him to go blind as well. πŸ™‚

  6. Perhaps the club should advertise crack waxing. You never know, it might be an incentive for some strikers.

    • I think anyone thinks these two will play more than a handful of games this season if any has been on the crack πŸ˜‰

  7. Nobody can deny we have missed these two players big time .

  8. A one in three striker indeed, but how long do we have to wait for him to play his three?

  9. To be honest I think the rest of the Premiership got lucky when they didn’t have to face Carroll & Sakho week in week out . They are pretty tough to handle . Of course the major problem is Thier fitness levels . The need for a proven quality Premiership striker is obviously a thing we are crying out for but , we can’t readily discard or ignore These two .
If they can get fit and stay fit it will be hard to object to them .

  10. Positive reports on both players! They are both alive then- yippee. I agree that if both are fit ….can’t even be bothered to finish that sentence lol.
