Sakho not for sale “at any price”

Sakho whamactionWest Ham will not be selling Diafra Sakho “at any price.”

With the closure of the transfer window virtually upon us, the club has made it clear there is no price tag on the player’s head and that they won’t consider any offers.

The club has regularly denied that a firm offer has been received for either Sakho or Valencia but they have made it crystal clear this morning that any club considering a Sakho move can forget it.

ClaretandHugh was told: “There have been no offers or inquiries, only rumours, but it’s as well to get things straight. There is zero chance that we will sell Diafra.”

The player is currently caught up in a club v country row but the Irons remain confident he will be available for next Sunday’s clash against Manchester United.

“We understand five days has to elapse from Senegal’s elimination before we can play him – we have done nothing wrong and are playing it by the book with Fifa.”

  1. The fans love Valencia – he is our new hero – under no circumstances should the club allow him to be sold. In the fans I know he is more “not for sale” than Sakho.. David’s to you we plead that once the deadline day is over that you do what every fan wants – put BFS out on gardening leave and put someone with the right team selection process in temporary charge until the end of the season.

  2. Be glad to see both Sakho & Valencia still in our colours come the end of transfer window. All we need now is a manager to play them together.Someone who wants to pick a team for the good of the club & results, not just for his own stubborness & need to play his pets. The guy has no kind of bond with us fans,we have contempt for him,he the same to us.Time Allardysaurus took his dated skills somewhere else.

  3. I would love to see the Sakho Valencia partnership back with Carroll a super sub occasionally starting against teams suited to his style

Valencia will come good once he plays consistently in his best position and not out wide as he has done far to often this season. I think Valencia has true class, pace and skill

  4. the only way forward is for SAM to **** off get rid of Nolan correll

it is the next and only step

  5. I love duo Sakho/Valencia, but our crazy manager will use them together only when Carroll is injured as in the first two months of this season. I don’t want this is an occasional couple, but always the first selection. It will be possibile only if the owners will impose it to BFS because he will never prefer them to Carroll/Nolan. I’m sure about that, so the solution is always the same: BFS OUT. We need a modern manager, ambitious and with an international experience.

  6. Agree with all the above. We need a manager/coach who is not blind to the difference in the team’s play between the Nolan/Carroll set up and the Valencia/Sakho one. We will also have no chance of keeping Song if BFS continues in charge.
De Boer at Ajax looks to be wanting to leave. How about it Chairmen? Pay him what he wants. He will make sure we play attractive, winning football, not the rubbish BFS seems satisfied with.

    • Yes dubbi, I totally agree with you, De Boer could be the right man to give us an amusement and attractive playing style. BFS football is rubbish.

  7. Agree with all my rue WHU fans have the squad for this season just need a true leader on the pitch who can lead by example ie Noble and if you can’t bring yourself to pay BFS to go put him on garden leave for the rest of the season and bring back Sir Trevor while you find the right manager for the future you tell us you are building.

  8. This situation is an absolute joke. When the two new lads were playing together up front everyone was raving about them. They were even being said to be our best pairing since Cottee/MacAvennie.The Chairmen were shouting from the roof tops about them.People inside football were saying they were an excellant & dangerous pairing.Fans from other clubs were saying how enjoyable we were to watch with them together. All of football knew we had found a real gem of a partnership. How the hell can everyone see this apart from Allardysaurus. One player in a team shouldnt be an issue but Nolans constant appearances affects the whole balance of the team,Downing gets shifted around,Noble/Song are left to cover too much space in midfield & we totally lose any link between the forwards & song or noble when bringing the ball out of a deeper midfield situation.I find it totally unfathomable that the Chairmen who spent so much time raving about our new attacking style are now sitting back allowing one man to dismantle what could have been a fantastic season.Four months of hard work will be down the kharsi. Is it just coincidence that our season has taken a dip since the reintroduction of the AC/Nolan love-in.If all our midfielders are available against United & Nolan is still on the teamsheet we might as well switch off the lights on this season coz it will be one that offered plenty & delivered nothing due to one mans stubborness & prehistoric selections & tactics.See sense pls DG &DS.If you want 54k filling the OS you need a manager willing to play football fit for this amazing stadium.

  9. David’s now is the right time to get rid of this person we call our manager – come on we need you to do it. He is destroying us.

  10. Can you imagine Sakho and Valencia up front with a natural playmaker just off them – what a forward line !!!!

  11. Allardyce is a fool.A few months ago he was raring up at England for picking Downing but then not playing him in his best position at the tip of the diamond. He was so mad about Englands treatment of Downing for not doing this & making him look ineffective on the wing then this muppet of a manager is doing exactly the same thing to Downing that he was angry about.Downing along with many other players must feel like they are being mugged off at the moment.

  12. Thanks Hugh, but think all the people who love West Ham and attractive football can agree with me. Only a blind man can’t, unfortunately that man is sitting on our bench… I really hope not for long…
