Sakho saga takes new twist

diafra-sakho-542296West Ham will only listen to offer for Diafra Sakho should they start at around the £15 million mark.

And with the club also being ready to allow Enner Valencia to move on they could be looking for two strikers this summer rather than the one.

Sakho is highly regarded by Slaven Bilic but the manager is aware of possible offers and could allow the Senegal striker to move on if the bidding starts at £15 milion.

Thus far contact has only been made through agents but it would be no surprise were one or two to take on real substance over the summer.

There have been no ‘firm’ inquiries for any Hammers player according to ClaretandHugh sources but bids will also be entertained for Valencia.

We were told: “Nobody will leave until we have what we consider better replacements but it’s realistic to assume that the pack will be shaken up this summer.”

David Sullivan admitted on the official club site yesterday: “We’re working 24 hours a day, seven days a week and with five bids in for players at the moment, we are hopeful that we can bring you some exciting news soon.”

  1. This is pleasing News for me as I hope he stays ! – He will come good and being a professional if no one comes in for him at 15 mil he will work it out that the only way he will move on ( or up ) in this World is to perform , if he got 20+ next season he would be in the 20Mil bracket and then the Big boys might want a piece of his Action ! COYIs

  2. We should keep him make him feel he is part of our set up and bring in 2 more forwards like him that can lead the line, work hard and score regularly,
All things AC and Valencia do not offer,
£20 million is the start price

  3. He should stay , I like the geezer , he’s a workhorse and given no injury I feel he will score 15- 20 goals given game time . No striker we bring in will score 20 plus goals a season without playing week in week out , with 4 strikers it probably will not happen but 5 each = 20? Let Bilic sort it out !
