Salzburg/Hammers “talking” on target

ManeWest Ham are chasing a new striker – 22 year old Senegalese midfield ace Sanio Mane.

Morning reports that the club were in for the player have been confirmed by sources inside the club to ClaretandHugh.

However, the Irons ares hort on their valuation of the £12 million player and currently a deal is not close.

The Salzburg star – capped 22 times for his country – is valued at £12 million by his club Salzburg but the Hammers have offered £6.5 m.

ClaretandHugh was told: “We are talking but our valuations are a long way apart. There’s always chance all the while we are talking, however remote.”

  1. Is he a midfielder that we are going to convert into a striker or something?
