Sam: “38 points may not be enough”

Big Sam

Boss Sam Allardyce isn’t at all sure that 38 points will be enough for Premier League survival and declares: “It’s been a strange season.”

The manager gave his view at the press conference ahead of the match against Southampton adding: ” We’ve put 13 points together in six games but we’re only four points from the third bottom scenario so it’s going to be at least 38 points.

“And based on what’s happening, it may be more than that. There hasn’t been too many years over the last ten years when you’ve had to have over 38 points but you perhaps will this time.”
