Sam faces Jenkinson dilemma

|

jenkinson1Carl Jenkinson will miss tomorrow’s game against Arsenal under a clause agreed between the Hammers and Arsenal.

The loanee right back will be absent from the team that plays his parent club in a match from which the Irons really need maximum points.

Co chairman David Gold in confirming the news said: “It was part of the loan agreement and the manager will be looking at his other options in that position.”

These appear to be Joey O’Brien and Guy Demel with the latter possibly edging the shout duw to his attacking instincts.

DG said: “We will try to attack them – the Chelsea result was disappointing but this is a game from which we will be hoping to take the points.”

  • Yep there’sa story up

  • Michael Miller says:

I’ve read that Demel has been ill and is doubtful for the game.

  • celticredhawk says:

Part of the loan agreement or not, a player is not allowed to play against his parent club according to premier league rules, or at least thats my understanding..

Irrespective, Jenks will be missed. We need to have a go at Arsenal so for me demel should get the nod but i suspect big Sam will give o brien the start.
