Sam: No new contract worries

|

Sam-allardyce-523256Sam Allardyce is talking about a new Hammers contract but claims it’s actually the last thing on his mind!

The newly turned 60 year old claimed that when you had  as much experience as him as management, the anxiety of new contracts, and when they should be signed, is not great for him.

He said: “The owners chose to wait and see how it goes. They chose to wait last  time and we had no problems sorting it out in the end.

“If we carry on the way we are going we will have and no problem sorting this one out either. But at the moment the contract is the last thing on my mind.

“But if their is a turn in fortunes and that doesn’t appear, I’ve still done a fantastic job for West Ham and life will move on.”

And he added: “I don’t feel pressure as much as I used to. You learn to deal with it as time goes by. I proved myself at this level a long time ago and that makes life more enjoyable.
