Saturday fixtures make Hammers win a must

|

West Ham cannot afford to do anything but win against Sheffield United on this September Saturday given the key games being played this afternoon.

The Hammers – with 10 points from six games – would move up one place with a win assuming Villa lose their home game against third place Brighton.

The midlands outfit have 12 points from their six games and the Seagulls 15 from theirs – an extraordinary rise over the last couple of seasons.

Elsewhere, Manchester United with nine games from six games meet Palace who are two points behind us in eighth place so that too remains a key game in us maintaining sixth place at the very least.

A Bournemouth win over Arsenal – on 14 points  would be welcome  and another key game at the top sees Jugen Klopp’s Liverpool travel to south placed Spurs who are currently on 14 points from their six games.

So all in all, a very important afternoon all the way around.
