Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad have 48 hours to sign West Ham defender Nayef Aguerd. With two days remaining of the Saudi transfer window, the oil rich state are looking to sign their top targets.
Hammer Nayef Aguerd certainly falls into that category, although the player is thought to be less than keen on the idea. The Moroccan is understood to be very happy at West Ham, despite knowing of interest in him. Al-IttihadĀ are looking to bolster their defence and they have their eyes set on the 27-year-old centre-back.
West Ham’s hierarchy are concerned that despite Aguerd’s apathy towards the move, that middle east club will throw ever increasing sums of money at the player.
Al-Ittihad have done some significant high profile transfer business during this window. They began by signing Real Madrid superstar Karim Benzema. They quickly followed it up by signing NāGolo Kante from London rivals Chelsea.
