Saudis open to Hammers move

West Ham could move in on Al-Ittihad’s Jota with the Saudi club being reported as being open to accept a loan deal for the 24 year old front man.

He is a player who would add to our attacking options and was a goal every three games man at Celtic where he managed 28 in 85 appearances across two spells with Celtic .

He has since been something of a disappointment in Saudi, failing to make the team on many occasions and left out of the squad on regular occasions.

However, former boss  – now head coach at Spurs Ange Postecoglou – is an admirer so that certainly speaks big time on the player’s behalf. Wolves are allegedly also interested.

Jota turned down a loan move to Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq which suggests he may have failed to settle in the country and with both Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals likely to move on, he could be a sensible addiction to the Irons squad.
