‘Sav’ hands Hammers a Grade A

|

SavageGobby pundit Robbie Savage may not be everybody’s cup of tea but he has nice words for the Irons in his Daily Mirror column this morning.

Giving his Christmas report on the Premier League – which is merely a chance to dress him up as a schoolteacher – he delivers his verdict on each club’s performance levels.

And of the Hammers he says: “ Dimitri Payet’s injury took the wind from their sails, but the Hammers have been great away from home, winning at Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool already.

The worst-case scenario was moving into the Olympic Stadium as a Championship side, but they will be comfortable in mid-table come May. Grade: A
