Scamacca snub

Gianluca Scamacca snubbed a move to PSG to sign for West Ham.

The striker has become the latest signing of what is turning into a busy summer for the Hammers.

He joins Alphonse Areola, Flynn Downes, and Nayef Aguerd as the new signings at the London Stadium, as David Moyes bids to transform his squad ahead of another season with European football.

Scamacca was linked with a potential move to PSG throughout the summer and Sky Sports now reports that the French club made a late bid to hijack the move.

However, the Italy international decided to move to the Hammers instead, having reached an agreement with the club.

He will provide support and competition to Mikey Antonio up front, as Moyes is desperate to add more firepower to his squad.

The Hammers face French club Lens in their final pre-season friendly this weekend before taking on Manchester City in their opening Premier League fixture.

  1. Never know how much to believe what is reported but apparently his agent and he said no thanks we have given our word to West Ham, nice sound bite and a great way to endear himself to us as fans COYI !!!

  2. PSG is another BIG club that can afford to collect players and block clubs from acquiring players…
    Simply, because they can.
They should’ve gone for Lingard, as they probably would’ve had more success.

  3. Scamacca Fair play to him , I wish him luck looks like a great player !
