Sean gives out his Hammers ratings

CandH’s Associate Editor Sean Whetstone hands down his verdict on the Hammers this season.

Lukasz Fabianski:  We missed him badly when injured and he had a recent off game but still a big asse to the club 7

David Martin: Did nothing wrong when called upon but not in Fabianksi’s class…..5

Darren Randolph:  Good backup for Fabianksi but unlikely to feature much…..6

Roberto Poor performances and lacking in confidence, a poor signing which changed our season 0

Aaron Cresswell: Aaron has shown some return to form but still not back to his best…..7

Fabian Balbuena: Disappointing compared to last season and has struggled to hold down a place…..4

Pablo Zabaleta: His legs have gone, maybe one season too many and should have hung up his boots at the end of last season…..5

Angelo Ogbonna: What a revelation this season and surely the Hammer of the year……9

Issa Diop:  Started the season poorly but some recent return to form. His best is yet to come I think…..7

Ryan Fredericks:  Lots of injuries and disappoints at time, will struggle to get his starting place back when fit….4

Arthur Masuaku: Can’t believe we gave him a long term deal under Pellegrini. Good left winger but not a left back…..2

Jeremy Ngakia: Amazing prospect and worthy of a big score even after a few games…..

Felipe Anderson: A luxury we can’t afford in my view. Disappointing for the money we paid ..5

Manuel Lanzini: Not the same player since his injury and his new contract with his massive pay rise..3

Robert Snodgrass:  So passionate, tries so hard, plays for the badge and Mr West Ham..8

Carlos Sanchez: Never should have signed him. End of …..0

Mark Noble: Mr West Ham and loves the club but other players in squad are now better than him.  Sorry Nobes…..6

Jack Wilshere: Mr Sick Note…Do I need to expand more?..2

Michail Antonio: Pace and Power but gives the ball away too easily and his final ball lets him down  Not a striker!…..7

Declan Rice:  Great season for the future Captain of England and West Ham…..8

Pablo Fornals: A late bloomer but has shown recent form and will only improve…..7

Tomas Soucek: We haven’t seen too much of him but I like what I have seen, he runs his socks off and comes in early for training ….7

Andriy Yarmolenko: I really like Yarmo but a real shame about his injury…..5

Sebastien Haller: He has been self-isolated all season but has shown what he can do when supported…Must do better!..6

Albian Ajeti: Not ready for the Premier League yet, A strang panic buy…..4

Jarrod Bowen: Expecting amazing things from his exciting signing so have over completely rated him on his few apperances …..8
