West Ham are experiencing a late rush on season ticket renewals with the deadline closing today Claret and Hugh understand.

The club is forecasting a high nineties renewal rate of general season ticket holders despite the cost of living crisis according to a key club insider.

Year on year, West Ham supporters show their loyalty by renewing in percentage rates above average for the rest of the Premier League.

The renewal rate dropped down to 88 per cent in the run-up to the 2020/2021 season mostly due to COVID but in most other seasons it has been in excess of 90 per cent since the move to the London Stadium in 2016.

The ambitious target would mean only around 1,500 West Ham supporters giving up their seats from 45,000 season ticket holders + 3,600 Club London Corporate members

However with a 2,500 extra capacity at the London Stadium next season, there might be 4,000 new season tickets next season available to those on the season ticket priority list.
