Season ticket renewal poll revealed

Just over three-quarters of West Ham season ticket holders claim they will renew for next season in a Claret and Hugh poll voted by over 1,200 readers who say there are season ticket holders.

75.58% (913) of those who voted say they will renew while 24.42% (295) say they will give up their season tickets.

With general season tickets estimated to be around 50,500 after the capacity increase to 60,000 at the London Stadium that could see as many as 12,000 leave forever.

However, a small word of caution is that a similar Claret and Hugh poll last April said a similar amount (25%) of supporters say didn’t plan to renew but at the end of the day over 92% renewed which was an increase on 90% the season before at the London Stadium.

The club claims that early renewals of season tickets are up by 30% this week but it remains to be seen what impact season ticket price rises announced a few days ago will have the 50,000 strong groups of season ticket holders.

  1. I won’t renew until the last week.
I’d rather keep my £160 in my own pocket until then.😉
