For the whole of this Premier League season the ‘wonderkid rankings‘ have been assessing, week on week, the merits of every top youngster across the division. Some of the best young talent in the world has been ranked, week on week, building up a thirty-eight game tally of the best of the best up and coming youngsters in English football.
The rankings, produced by 3addedminutes.com, have now produced their season’s overall ratings for such talent as Jack Hinshelwood, Nico O’Reilly and Kobe Mainoo.
And the winner will make for interesting reading for West Ham fans:

Congratulations to Fernandes who stands head and shoulders above some pretty impressive talent. West Ham fans will see the irony of his award, more than likely simply adding a few million more to his sale value when the transfer window opens next month.
Perhaps in the future we will reflect how lucky we were to see him, when in years to come he’s strutting the world stage: PSG have been linked with a move for him along with top Premier League sides.
If nothing else, it is good to see Graham Potter did make one or two good transfer calls during his awful residency.
Yes credit where it’s due on that one. His sale looks almost inevitable but atleast it gives the opportunity for some other young talent to step up. There are also rumours that Wan Bissaka is on his way so it is handy that we have another Potter signing in Walker Peters. Around £100m for those 2 would start to fill the financial hole that Sully’s incompetence has dug us.

Pity we didn’t have a forward line to go with his talent
What a shame we didn’t make the most of his talent while we had the chance
