Seb Haller return edges closer

|

The club has published a photo Seb Haller training at the London Stadium yesterday following days of specualtion of whether he is injured or not. The striker suffered two small injuries with a groin strain and a hip injury but is now edging towards a return after five full days on training on grass.

He faced a late fitness test yesterday afternoon. The result of the test is unknown although he was seen boarding one of two team coaches yesterday evening presumably staying overnight at a hotel before this evening’s game against Burnley.

Yesterday Claret and Hugh revealed that a contract dispute over a payment schedule is in no way related to his absence with the player nearing a return to the matchday squad.
At best Haller will be on the bench this evening if he passed his fitness test and maybe could get a few minutes towards the end of the game.

I will not be surprised if we don’t see Seb represent West Ham on the pitch ever again. Not just the injury woes he seems to be suffering from but the missing of the payment to Frankfurt smells of something fishy to me!
