Second Hammer back in Italy

Nicola-Vlasic-West-Ham-Transfer

Torino has semi-officially announced they have bought Nikola Vlasic back  from West Ham after agreeing on a transfer fee of €9m (£7.75m) plus €3m (£2.6m) of add-ons.

The Serie A side announced it with a video teasing: ‘Guess who’s back?’

The 25-year-old had spent last season with the Granata on loan, contributing five goals and six assists in 34 Serie A appearances.

He repeatedly stated that he wanted to make the move stick, but negotiations dragged on, with Torino insisting they could not afford the figures demanded by the Hammers.

The two clubs finally managed to strike an agreement at €12m this week, and his contract with Torino will now run to June 2027, with a salary set at €2m per season.

West Ham are yet to make a statement, but that is only a matter of time.

Vlasic cost West Ham €26m back in 2021 and was a David Moyes pick, but things never worked out.
