West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville has attracted the attention of two more Serie A clubs as the Hammers brace themselves for his departure.
Yesterday, during a lengthy discussion with a club insider, it was reiterated to Claret & Hugh that Summerville remains the player most likely to leave the London Stadium this summer.
There is already strong interest from Roma, who have been heavily linked with the Dutch winger for some time.
However, they have now reportedly been joined by AC Milan and Napoli in the race for his signature.
International Recognition Adds To Interest
Summerville made his Netherlands debut this week, playing 45 minutes in the 1-0 defeat to Algeria as Ronald Koeman’s side continued their World Cup preparations.
The call-up only increases interest in a player who remains highly regarded across Europe despite West Ham’s relegation. The best the Hammers can hope for is that a strong world cup increases his value.

West Ham Already Expecting Departure
There remain three categories of player at West Ham.
Those the club know will leave.
Those who could possibly be persuaded to stay.
And a small group who are expected to be part of the Championship campaign.
Summerville falls very much into the first category despite his encouraging social media posts about “doing better” next season.
As things stand, Summerville and Mateus Fernandes remain the two players most likely to depart this summer.
That is despite recent suggestions from within the club that West Ham will at least explore the possibility of persuading Fernandes to remain at the London Stadium.
I would think it unlikely that Serie A clubs could afford his wages or the transfer fee as West Ham now have a Dutch International to sell or keep
I am glad over sea clubs are interested in Summerville and Fernandes because hopefully it will get the prices the players are worth. We don’t need the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal or Man Utd thinking they they are going to pick them up on their terms. If you want a player you pay our asking price, end of, we need to get some money in to help us balance the books,and that should not deflate the value of our best players
Pay up or shut up
English clubs are wealthier than those on the continent, outside of Madrid, Bayern and PSG. Staying in England will likely get us the best price for these guys
Gonzo I don’t want to see either leave, but with that amount of interest the two should give us well over the £100 million we need leaving possibly 1 more sale to help with new in coming players. It would be nice to see then not leave on the cheap again, just hope someone keeps whispering in Sulivans ear, higher.
