Seven years on this Iron has a big dream

Manu Lanzini is back to his best and looking for better!

After seven years with the Hammers the little Argentinian is part of the Hammers family in a big way and there can’t be anybody anything but delighted that he is now again the player we have always believed him to be.

And Manu is clearly ready to show it as much as possible after suffering a devastating pre-World Cup injury which saw him in real trouble.

It’s taken a while for him to recover – longer probably than both he and we expected – but now he’s looking really good and was a serious creative spark against Wolves at the weekend.

Maybe he hasn’t received full credit for his recent displays as the team has suffered a mini slump but he’s determined to show himself in the FA Cup again tonight – if selected – and he has one clear ambition …to win something as a Hammer.

Speaking to www.whufc.com he said: “Lanzini noted: “Every game is tough, but we know we need to play, we need to focus on our football, and if we can focus on our football, we can achieve the win.

“Seven years is a long time and it’s like my second home here. I want to try to win something or try to get to the final of a competition.

“It’s that important for us, for the Club and also for the fans.”
