West Ham fans are more than happy for Marko Arnautovic to become a Chinese takeaway this winter.

The striker – after appearing to wave goodbye to the crowd when leaving the action – has now seen fans wave back almost with an “all the best” reaction.

Following the news that he is wanted by by an unnamed Chinese Super League believed to be Shanghai, ClaretandHugh put a simple question to its followers:

O Should he be sold at the best price the club can get, or:

O be forced to see out the remainder of his contract.

The vast majority have little doubt that the Austrian international should be sold with 83.6 per cent making it clear that was their favoured option.

Only 16.4 pc of the 1390 who have voted since this morning wanted to force the striker into staying and seeing out his deal.
