Silkeborg: Are they any good?

West Ham take on Silkeborg in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.

The Hammers are all but guaranteed to finish top of their group but will need to take a point just to be absolutely sure – having beaten Silkeborg already this season.

However, the Danish side have been in reasonable form domestically and will be out to claim the scalp of a Premier League side on Thursday.

They beat FCSB 5-0 twice, both home and away, in the Conference League, and had been on a three-game unbeaten run in the Danish league.

However, at the weekend, they were reduced to 10 men and were beaten 3-2 by Horsens.

It leaves them fourth in the table, seven points behind leaders Nordsjaelland, and will be hoping to make their way into the knockout stages of the Conference League.

They are currently two points clear of Anderlecht in second place and will be out to put some more points on the board on Thursday.
