Silva lining grows on Masuaku exit

Fulham boss Marco Silva is all set to make a move for former player under his management Arthur Masuaku once the transfer window opens.

Silva was linked with a likely move ahead of the Cottagers clinching automatic promotion to the Premier League and that now looks to have become certain following the Cottagers clinching the Championship.

The Fulham boss knows the 28-year-old well from his time with Olympiakos in Greece, when the full-back made 33 appearances in all competitions as he won the league title under the Portuguese in 2015-16.

And whilst the left back has made no big impression at the Hammers, Silva is a keen admirer of the player and believes he can bring him back to his best at Craven Cottage.

The Irons will be happy to get their money back on the defender/midfielder and are ready to accept a £5 million offer although will probably ask for around £8 million.

It may not be entirely out of the question that Ryan Fredericks – available on a free this summer – may also be ready to return to his former club according according to some of our sources!
