Sima in mind as ‘£40m’ Abraham can’t make Blues squad

West Ham are becoming more attracted to their Czech strike option in Abdallah Sima given the quoted price for Tammy Abraham.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel again demonstrated the player is nowhere near his thinking by not even naming him as a sub for the Champions League final against Manchester City last night.

Whilst that seems more than harsh the manager may be shooting the club in the foot by their apparently estimate of £40 million for a player who can get nowhere near the first team,

And the Mail is now reporting that the Hammers believe the centre forward is worth no more than £25million.

That’s £5nmillion less than Sima who scored 15 goals in 32 appearances for Slavia Prague as they won the Czech first league.

Although the Hammers have around £35 million set aside for a top striker the Abraham option looks too pricey – IF CORRECT – by anybody’s standards.

And at 19 years old and coming with a Soucek/Coufal recommendation  Sima looks to be very much on their Irons mind right now.

  1. I would prefer Sima to Abraham, Abraham lacks the hunger and desire top players have. Moyes said he wants young hungry players, Abraham has a high skill and talent level but to move up the football tree we need hungry players, which is why Sima, Hlozek, Daka and Weghorst should top our list. Talking of hungry players Kante showed what they do to a team last night, as do Rice, Soucek, Coufal for us among others like Ogbonna and Antonio, I hate to say it but Guardiola will probably target Rice now, he is Kante-esque and a natural antedote to Kante in his quest to beat Chelsea who have his number.

  2. Since soucek doubles as our entire recruitment department,. I’d go with this guy instead

  3. Tammy would be a good buy but not at £40m.
    Sima or Armstrong for me.
Anyone from the Bundesliga (even if they’re not mentioned here) would be a no no for me considering Haller and Werner. Looks like I’d have a good tally there😳

  4. I think that it remains true that a player is worth what a buying club are prepared to pay (e.g. Grady Diangana)

If no one is prepared to pay 40 million Chelsea will lower their price
