Six Game Suspension | Good News

Hear me out. Of course West Ham United don’t want their crown jewel to miss games – as one of our leading goal threats, Mohammed Kudus is a big miss. If, as looks likely, the FA will hit him with two, consecutive three match suspensions, then West Ham’s ‘Starboy’ will not return until the Wolves game on December 9th. Hammers’ hierarchy seem to believe we will know the outcome before the Forest game.

The Ghanaian will still be able to play for his national side, so no danger of getting stale – the next international break comes at a perfect time for him to rediscover his form in ‘dead-rubber’ games for his country with no stress: Ghana have all but failed to qualify for AFCON 25 so these games can let him relax and ‘express himself ( how I hate that expression).

His Hammers’ coach Julen Lopetegui will therefore be forced into playing Crysencio Summerville, last week’s man of the match against Manchester United – for an extended run of another five games in Kudus’ hated-but-tolerated role on the left.

Summerville gets the confidence he needs to step up and show what he’s capable of, which will help him nail down his own starting role at the club.

Summerville scores for West Ham against Manchester United

Summerville gets to start on the left side until December – unless Lopetegui is seriously daft

Five more games then, for Summerville to prove himself worthy of that left – sided role that Kudus hates anyway.

When Kudus is available again – Lopetegui can start him centrally in the role everyone bar J’Lo seems to be clear would suit Kudus and the club. Finally, through accident rather than design West Ham can have that dream front line of Antonio playing in front of Summerville, Kudus and Bowen. Which can only be good news.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970.. 'Football is Life' oh yes. Let it raise your spirit but never darken your mood. Life's too short not to enjoy the journey with our Claret and Blue heroes n' villains.

Man Utd show us whatto do with a crap manager. Will Sulli ever learn? JLo – ****off, we’ve seen enough. Sack him now and get someone who knows what to do before all the available managers are taken up.

  • Jeeps says:

If JLo can’t see the 3 he should be playing across the front line then he needs to go.
Same with the defence 4 strongest need to play regularly.
With so many new players bonding with each other is essential.
Speaks for itself don’t need to have manager qualifications.

All sounded good apart from the mention of Antonio.

  • Joe says:

Any front line with antonio in it is not a dream 😂 I cannot even fathom how he’s still our starter after all this time

  • Ricky jonesy says:

J LO is doing a great job it’s the players that are letting him down kudus getting sent off at spurs just proves the point we can’t have him getting all high rate because things aren’t going his way almost like a child having a tantrum poor very poor if the squad knuckled down and did throb they are being handsomely paid for them things would be fine it was the same when moyes was in his last season the squad need to stop behaving like children and do their job

  • John Harrison says:

The fans can all see it. But will the manager? Here’s hoping.

Let’s see , Summerville looks class hope he goes on to prove he’s worth the starting spot . Good luck to the lad and the team . I agree with kudus in the middle , we have great players . Come on lads get that consistency ⚒

JL attitude needs to change if he’s going to win the players and fans over it seems that everyone in the London stadium is sick of players being played out of position and made to look like they are not up to the job which is so far from the truth if you want a player in a certain position then bring one in that’s comfortable in that role with the squad we have we should not be where we are now I don’t see how JL can be a success as head coach rumours about a new manager is in the pipeline should we still be struggling in the new year in my book we should act now while the person concerned is available because by new year he will be at some other club and we will miss out yet again Sullivan needs to swallow his pride and do what is best for the club instead of trying to save face if we are to stand any chance of getting into the euro spots then now is the time to act not when we will be facing relegation and running the risk of going down and if that should happen all our top players will be looking to leave and that doesn’t bear thinking about

your sullivan rants are repetitive and boring. we come to this site everyday and have to be subjected your grammatically retarded and obsessively fixated drivel. move on ffs

  • Michael Rockwell says:

100% agree! Been aching to see Kudus pay #10 since we got him. Let the dream not fade and die!

  • Pongo says:

I’ve been saying the above since the start of the season. Summerville on the left bowen on the right alvarez kudus soucek in the middle paqueta on the bench, the defence speaks for itself but boy do I wish we had got Duran up front.

  • Gaz says:

    Hope you are right.
Paqueta is a shadow of his former self and Kudus would be great in the middle.
