Sky make big striker claim for Hammers

Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that Gabriel Barbosa is desperate to move to England amid interest from the Premier League and the Hammers.

The reporter claims that the Irons are very interested in a deal to sign the Flamengo striker, who is a Brazil international.

Sheth has claimed that there is intense interest from the Irons and that they have proposed an 18-month loan deal for the 25-year-old, that would hold the option for the Hammers to buy him for £25m at the end of that spell.

Barbosa has scored 84 goals in 124 games for the Brazilian club but there appear to be conflicting messages in the media over interest in the man known as Gabigol in his homeland.

The Daily Mail has reported previously that Moyes has ruled out a move to sign him, but Sky seem to be pushing the deal as something that could well take place.

Newcastle have also been linked with Barbosa so we’ll have to wait and see. We’re putting this one down as moderate.

  1. I wonder what the ratio is to South Americans playing in the Prem how successful they are or not? Everyone knows of a least one or two but how many have tried and failed? Balbuena was moderately capable. Anderson say no more. Lanzini more +++ than —.

  2. I have worked out what is stopping the videos, I have add blockers on all my devices, this is what stops the videos!
