Sky predict Hammers’ European fate

Sky Sports predict the Hammers will finish fifth in the Premier League table this season!

The Irons are well in with a shout of qualifying for the Champions League after a phenomenal run of form.

That has led to Sky analysing the race for the top four, and they have drawn up two predicted tables, one based on the current points-per-game teams are picking up, and one drawn up by the Football Observatory.

The first table predicts a fifth-placed finish for the Hammers but it’ll be tight!

It backs David Moyes’ men to take 67 points, the same number as fourth-placed Chelsea, but the prediction backs us to miss out on goal difference.

The rest of the top four is made up of Manchester City, Manchester United, and Leicester, leaving the Irons above Liverpool, Spuds and Arsenal!

The Football Observatory is a bit gloomier, and predicts the Irons will fall to a seventh-placed finish, six points behind, again, fourth-placed Chelsea. That algorithm believes Liverpool will finish third, with the Manchester clubs the top two, Leicester in fifth, and Villa in sixth.

Both predictions have us above Spurs!

  1. Yes please, hope the football observatory are right🤞

  2. All predictions will be up the creek in a fortnight. Something interesting to do though.
