Sky Sports have revealed that Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus.
Last night Claret & Hugh confirmed there had been direct contact between the clubs, with London Stadium sources revealing an unofficial swap deal had been proposed.
The Blues offered a group of players — including Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Robert Sánchez, Carney Chukwuemeka, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Trevoh Chalobah — as part of a deal to lure the Ghanaian star to Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to C&H, a top West Ham source told us that none of the players were of interest to the Hammers.
However, Sky Sports are now reporting that Irons boss Graham Potter is in fact interested in goalkeeper Robert Sánchez as part of the package.
With Arsenal also in the mix for Kudus, West Ham could finally be on the verge of securing the bidding war they’ve been hoping for — one that might push the winger’s transfer fee significantly higher.
The former Ajax winger has an £85m buyout clause active in July but should be available for considerable less.
Kudus didnt want to know at the back end of Moyes tenure…The loppy experiment..And now under Potter..For me he is not worth another season at West Ham..
I cant quite work out if he is just playing within his capabilities or PL defenders have sussed him out after his break through season…His frustration in the Spurs game tells me the latter…Either way anyone who collects the ball on the halfway line and then turns back to pass it rather than run into acres of space is not worth keeping…He has lost something and its probably his desire to play in a West Ham shirt….So its good bye from me…But not on the cheap.
What’s the point of getting good players and getting rid of them.
And if you say well it’s so that we can sell them and then buy…what…….
Please not Sanchez NO NO NO I had faith in Potter but if this deal goes ahead I doubt myself now
I thought Chalobah and adarabioyo would have been of interest before Sanchez.
Hope this is bs ….don’t want that clown at our club
