Transfer expert for Sky Sports, Darmesh Sheth, has gone out on a limb by claiming West Ham have made a final decision on which striker will be their main target.

Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran was named by Sheth as the man Tim Steidten has decided is best suited to lead the Hammers’ attack. With the Hammers linked to so many different targets over the past few weeks, it’s brave of Darmesh to nail his colours to the mast in picking one forward.

According to the Sky man West Ham’s move for Duran will happen once the Copa America is finished early on Monday morning. For the moment, the player is understandably focused on the final at The Hard Rock Stadium where Colombia takes on Argentina. Duran was an unused substitute as Colombia beat Uruguay 1-0 in their Copa semi-final, which was marred by fighting in the crowd.

Sensational footage has emerged of Liverpool striker and former West Ham target Darwin Nunez fighting in the stands against Colombian fans.

    Speculation! Speculation! Speculation! Love West Ham, but so so bored with the way we work during the Summer transfer window. Have we beaten our current record, regarding the vast amount of players that have been linked with this term?

    Bored senseless with it, with little productivity for a team set to do all there transfer business early on!!!

      Dave- reading our pieces or watching Sky’s ‘transfer updates’ isn’t compulsory, so if it is getting to you maybe have a break and come back to us after the weekend when (hooray) we have some ‘friendly’ matches to comment on rather than just the rumours. Personally, I’m looking forward to having something ‘real’ to write about….

    Duran will be a success and we will finally get a centre forward who scores 15-20 goals a season. We then need soule Argentinas young attacking playmaker to pull the strings and todibo from nice as a centre half partner for Kiliman. Then signing bissaka and walker-peters or juventus Spanish u21 left back huisen. Job done!!!’ COYI
