Slav decides – tonight’s likely team

|

bilic-slaven-west-ham_3313638Slaven Bilic is all set to stick with the team that beat Liverpool at Anfield’s for tonight’s Boleyn clash with Newcastle.

And that means the new arrivals, Michail Antonio, Nikicia Jelavic and Victor Moses will be on the bench along with on loan right back Carl Jenkinson.

ClaretandHugh sources believe the manager Slaven Bilic is all set to reward the eleven players who scored such an extraordinary victory over Brendan Rodgers’ struggling outfit.

And if we are correct it means that James Tomkins will be continuing in the right back position despite Carl Jenkinson being available for the game against Newcastle after serving out a one match ban for the sending off against Bournemouth.

The Hammers are of course seeking their first home win of the campaign and victory tonight would catapult them into the top six.

The team – we are told – will be: Randolph, Tomkins, Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Obiang, Noble, Kouyate, Payet, Lanzini, Sakho.

Subs: Speigel, Jenkonson, Antonio, Collins, Moses, Carroll, Jelavic

Bubs sorry for being a constant nag on this one.. I will do…No more anti Jenks comments – to be honest he seems a top lad but just don’t rate him as a natural footballer. That’s end I am going to be good from now on….I promise…

You have got to let it go John,if we are right and Tomo plays how we know he can Wenger will demand he comes back as he is getting no playing time,
Just be patience John trust Slav,
We may need him because of injuries

I think Oxford will also be on the bench in place of Collins the reason being that he can sit in front of the defence if we need to soak up pressure later on, he can also cover at CB (which Tompkins could also do) if we were to lose either of those, certainly the best bench I can remember since Harry was last in charge, COYI !!!

    I have only 3 requirements for tonight…
    1. We win
    2. We play 4 attaching players from the start.
    3. Jenkinson stays on the bench for the entire game – I would have Oxford on the bench instead of him. He is a real right back. I saw him play there as a kid – what a player in that position.

If Zarate is not 100% I can understand Jelavic, but not Collins,
Oxford would be a much better pick he can cover the 3 Midfielders,Tomkins and Kouyate can cover Ried and Obe,Jenkinson can cover full back,
Collins can cover 1 place, but what do I know,
Still what a lovely position to be in ,just hope we don’t need any subs until the result is in the bag,
