Slav faces big reshuffle for Reds

nortHavard Nortveidt looks set for a return to the Hammers midfield this afternoon with Mark Noble ruled out with injury (abdomen).

And with Cheik Kouyate recovering from surgery on his wrist injury it’s another mix and match operation for the boss as he bids to extend two five-match unbeaten runs.

The Hammers have gone five games without defeat in the Premier League fixtures and  are also on a run of  five matches without defeat against the scousers.

With Noble, Kouyate, Carroll, Antonio and Obiang sidelined it will be a big achievement for the Hammers to extend their recent run of results.

Liverpool their own worries with Firminio, Leiva, Ings, Bogdan and Mane all sidelined for the trip to the London Stadium.

It will be the most notable of results if they manage it given the injury problems which we believed have been eased by the likely return of Arthur Masuaku and Angelo Ogbonna who looks set for a place on the bench.

Possible Hammers line up: Adrian; Byram, Reid (Capt), Fonte Collins, ,Masuaku; , Nortveidt, Fernandes, Lanzini, Ayew, Calleri.

  1. Can we beat Liverpool today ? ; yes of course we can . Probably see a sack full of yellows between the two sides and maybe a Liverpool red because they will be considerably more twitchy than us . I think we are better than Liverpool and today will prove me right or wrong .
Nortviedt , Calleri & Fernades need strong performances and with that predicted starting eleven I think they will .
