Slaven Bilic has confirmed that Andy Carroll will be missing from the team that takes on Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday evening.
But the Irons manager continues to talk the player up to the skies saying: “He gives you a new dimension. There aren’t many players that are capable of playing like him, he is different.”
And he added: “I don’t see a national team in the world in which he wouldn’t be useful.
“He’s in good form, the only thing about him is that now he’s a little bit injured and didn’t train for 10 days. He works for the team and scores goals.”
ClaretandHugh was told yesterday that Carroll would be missing as a result of missing so much training but was told that his groin injury was now sorted.
He will be back in action according to the manager for the match against Chelsea.
