Dinamo Zagreb manager Zoran Mamic has thanked West Ham manager Slaven Bilic for helping him plan the victory over Arsenal last night (Wed).
An Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain own goal and a second-half header from Junior Fernandes were enough to see off Wenger’s side who pulled one back through Theo Walcott in their first Champions League match.
Mamic had spoken with Slav and his assistant coach Nikola Jurcevic and said: . “I am enormously happy about the win over Arsenal, and congratulations to my players because they completed everything we agreed and that’s why they were rewarded.
“We were scouting Arsenal, thanks to information from Slaven Bilic and Nikola Jurcevic, and on this occasion I want to thank them, but without the effort of my team it would have been worth nothing, they really did a great job.”
