Slav looks for faith to be rewarded

|

Simone-ZazaWest Ham’s bid to re-negotiate the terms of Simone Zaza’s loan could have benefits at various levels.

It works at relieving the  pressure on the player to prove himself within a certain time frame and ensures that the £5 million splashed out isn’t halved by an early return to Juventus or elsewhere.

Despite his lack lustre start, the club also takes the view that as a part of the squad for the past four months he understands the team set up whereas it may take time for a new signing – if one can be found – to impact.

Beyond that, Slaven Bilic has made it clear in numerous press conferences that he still has great faith in Zaza and that he was his  ‘pick.’

Undoubtedly in these situations there is a bit of face saving to be done and with Gokhan Tore very much a failure Slav will be  keen to see Zaza return to his best if the club aren’t to have spent £7 million in loan fees on players who didn’t hack it.

    “Benefits at various levels”?

Who are you kidding? He is useless and it isn’t to going to change. No doubt the marketing masterminds at the club think that is a positive message to broadcast but most of the fans are brighter than they are and see Zsa Zsa for what he is.

Unbelievable. Zaza needs to be shown the door for the
sanity of hammers fans. I’ve posted before that we should be fearful of relegation yet all I hear is we are to good.
Really ? For a manager to keep having faith in a no hoper says it all. I like Bilic but I feel he has to go and take his failed signings with him. It must be odds on we will be in the bottom three at xmas if drastic action is not taken.
