Slaven Bilic is the latest to question Harry Redknapp’s memory.
The former Hammers has had his accounts of issues called into question by the likes of Steve Claridge in the past when publishing his various memoirs.
Now Slav has made it clear he disagrees with Redknapp’s versions of events over his move to Everton whilst a player at West Ham.
He told the London Evening Standard: “It wasn’t a lack of ambition or an unwillingness to try but at the same time I felt great loyalty to West Ham.
“That was why I turned down the chance to join Everton before the transfer deadline in March of that year.
“Instead, I agreed a deal but stayed at Upton Park for the rest of the season to help my team fight relegation.”
“In one of Harry’s books, he said I did it because of a loyalty bonus I would get but that was not true, believe me. I would have got more money if I had decided to join Everton straight away.”
Redknapp is a dislikeable ***** full stop.
old flappy chops has very selective memory.. ask the tax man,
You do not need to explain your self to us,if he thought he was going to make more money he would update say anything, once I had respect for him watching him play and then as a coach but the day he stabbed Billy in the back was the day he showed his real colours and then went to the Spuds
Now just bad memories
