Slav: “They started better but we were really good”

bilic_main_3437996b-large_transpjliwavx4cowfcaekesb3kvxit-lggwcwqwla_rxju8Boss Slaven Bilic says his side are “down and disappointed” after today’s loss, but is happy with their performance.

“Very, very frustrating to lose the game like this,” he said.

“They started better and deserved to score but after that we were really good. We were just missing that final touch.

“We gave everything so it is a shame and a frustration, but we played good today.”

  1. Once again we started a man short, and were only able to give it a real go in the second half when we not only had a full compliment of players; but mobility in midfield too.

  2. Swings and roundabouts. We were awful v Hull and won, today we were pretty good v the Champions and unlucky to lose.

Another day we draw or even win that game. We really do need and out and out striker. I am hoping the Defoe move comes off, he would be perfect for us for the rest of this season. I really thought we played well today after the first 25 minutes or so.

Worse thing about today apart from the result, is how Leicester got every single bit of luck. Everything went their way. Every bounce, loose ball, 50/50, ect.

Plus my dear god they are a time wasting, moaning, cynical, dirty team. They got away with so much last season, they did so again today.

PS. Ayew. £20 million??? More like a £20 player. He is awful. Least with Zaza we were able to send him back. Ayew offers NOTHING.
