Slave Bilic has taken the sting out or any fans complaints the promises to make star signings to encourage season tickets saying: “We’ve sold them already!”
Every season a minority of supporters make that charge against the club but the manager has once again drawn fire with a masterly overview of the club’s position.
But he has made it clear that the club is moving upwards fast and cites calle from “agents and players themselves offering themselves through agents.”
He added: “A year ago it was simply not possible. They were not on our list, they were on the list above us. Now that’s happening. Whether it’s rumours or we are back-ups.
“At least we are back-ups. It’s happening but for me my honest opinion is it’s happening a little bit too fast. We can’t stop it unless we play bad which you don’t want of course.”
Bilic has repeatedly knocked down suggestions that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a viable option but the club will splash big on the right striker.
He said: “If we are talking about big signings it’s good players who will improve our team .With the greatest respect we are not going to sign Ronaldinho for West Ham.”
