Slavia Prague president Jaroslav Tvrdik says he constantly has West Ham fans asking when the club’s best players are moving to the Hammers!
The Irons snatched Tomas Soucek and Vlad Coufal away from the Czech club and they have gone on to become genuine stars in the Premier League.
Slavia are continuing to perform even without the pair, though, and are 11 points clear at the top of the Czech league.
In 21 games, they have won 17 and drawn four, meaning they are on course for an unbeaten season.
Slavia are also into the last-16 of the Europa League, having shocked Leicester in the last-16, and Tvrdik says that Hammers supporters want the prolific striker Abdallah Sima and goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar.
Sima has scored 19 goals in 29 games this season and Tvrdik admits he is constantly inundated with tweets asking him when they’ll be sold to the Hammers!
Speaking to O2 TV Sport, as transcribed by Sport Witness, he said: “Thousands of West Ham fans write to me on Twitter without exaggeration. They’re asking when Sima or Kolář are coming.
“They feel they should have a pre-purchase right. But that’s not the situation, we don’t have a partnership. Maybe we’ll get there in time.”
