Slav’s first interview: “We’ll achieve great things”

slaven-bilic-penalti-icin-patladi-adama-dokunmadi-bilee-56164Slaven Bilic has given his first interview as Hammers boss declaring: “I’m really glad to be back with West Ham United

The Mirror reports him as sayng: “It’s in the Premier League, which is among the best in the world. It’s a big challenge and you are competing with the best and what better club to do it with than West Ham.

“I remember West Ham as a special club. I love these kinds of special clubs. My last club, Besiktas, was that kind of club. It’s not about the size – West Ham is big Club – there is something special about them – they are a cult clubs.
“It is a great place to play and I felt like I was at home. It is a big privilege and a big responsibility to now be manager and I hope that I will prove it to the Board, players and fans.

“My first priority when choosing a club is to look at its ambitions. When I spoke to the Chairmen and Karren Brady, they made clear that it is not only the fantastic new Stadium we are moving into, but they showed their determination and ambition to make what is a big club even bigger.

“I saw their determination and passion that they want to do that. That was the number one reason. I could feel that they really wanted me so it was an easy choice.

“I would say to the West Ham fans that I will give my best and together we will achieve great things.”

  1. I already love him… his words sound very well… “respect the point” it’s a distant memory … lol

  2. Well i am delighted.Good to see some WPants are already moaning about.I will only ever say this once on here!! But they really are a bunch of total C*NTS!!!!!!

    • ahaha… yeah Chicken… one minute of “Welcome Super Slav” (many moaning) and now everybody’s already focused on the transfmarket… looool… I love that site!

  3. Lmao, let it out Chicken, you are only saying what most of us think. For me it is a fantastic appointment.Just what we needed after the horrible Hippo era 😉

  4. Welcome back BFFS! (Big Fan Friendly Slav)
First off you’ll need a new chair in your office, yes your predecessor was that big.
Then you’ll need more than that little tactics board with Plan A written on it.
Sorry about all that chewing gum and pie crumbs all over the place.
Now you can start, you know the club, you love the fans, there’s only good times ahead.

  5. Welcome back Slav.
looking forward to a promising season.. Lets get behind him and the team. COYI

  6. More than Hippo said in the four years that he was here!
“I would say to the West Ham fans that I will give my best and together we will achieve great things.”… Luv it!

  7. Perhaps we can put the split between the fans behind us over the season and save it for others who not only support other teams but hate our team

  8. So, in the end it was the compromise candidate and last man standing.
Having said that I’m a hundred percent behind him but for two reasons not one, the second being I want him to stick it up the nose of all those others who thought they were too big for us.

  9. Shut up canchaz he was never the last man standing and if you miss BFS go and join your sad friends elsewhere,
You say you 100% behind him but with EXTRAS, let the past go and give him and every one from now on that he brings in a chance to prove they have what we want,
The board had no choice but to start at the top and go through the list,
Nothing personal but you are so down beat all the time and that’s what is strangling our club

  10. No surprise there?? Welcome a thousand times Slav!..,
