Slav’s training ground puzzler

arthur-masuaku-west-ham-action-shot_3785392Slaven Bilic could be tempted to spring a surprise tomorrow after using Arthur Masuaku at right back in training ground sessions sparking suggestions that Sam Byram may again be named as a sub.

It had been thought that Masuaku’s sending off in the Premier League 2 match against Newcastle this week would carry forward into the Premier League itself.

But the three game suspension only applies to the level at which it was received and the Frenchman is available for the game against Leicester City.

However, it seems more possible  that Sam Byram will get his chance although Aaron Cresswell’s form against Bournemouth was so poor there were suspicions that he could be replaced by the back up left back.

However, the training ground routines appeared to give Masuaku a chance of slotting in on the right side of defence although Byram remains favourite for the role.

The squad remains the same as that which was beaten on the south coast last weekend with the notable absence of captain Mark Noble.
