West Ham’s chances of signing Marcus Rashford on a loan transfer from Manchester United are described as slim to none.

The 27-year-old is widely reported to earn £325,000 per week with up to £75,000 per week in bonuses.

Manchester United are said to be willing to subsidise some of his wages in a loan deal although the loanee club willing to pay the highest loan fee will probably have the best chance of securing his services.

Rashford’s basic wage until the end of June is £6.1m so the Manchester club are only likely to entertain offers of £3m or greater.

The player is said to prefer Champions League football and until today AC Milan seems to be in pole position with Milan offloading Noah Okafor to RB Leipzig but that deal collapsed after a failed medical putting Rashford’s loan deal in doubt.

Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Spurs are all reported to have an interest in a loan deal for Rashford who is valued at £46m down from £72m three years ago.

Manchester United might have money to throw away but we haven’t. Let Rashford and his circus go elsewhere. Don’t know why we would even consider him.

Basic wage £6.1m, but widely reported to earn £400,000.00 per week, which based on 52 weeks is up around the £20m mark, which is it?

  • John Lattimore says:

I would say Rashford is paid £325K per week rather than earns it!

I think it would be a good loan signing for us ..but what’s the point if it’s slim to no chance….we get.the news on slim ,Or no chance at all on players..so we hear things like that..why don’t we hear something like ..there is a really good chance of getting this player or that.player..they like to keep transfers private wich is fine …but when there’s no chance of getting a player , it’s.put up straight away…
    Bit strange would you say
..I’m sure fans would like to hear about players we actually have a good chance of getting ..especially if we hear there’s no chance of him or no chance that happening ..there fine telling us about what they can’t or won’t do
