Song: ‘I may join Galatasaray’

SongsAlex Song has revealed he could be tempted to join Galatasaray at the end of the season.

Speaking to the Turkish newspaper AMK when asked about a potential transfer to the club he said:”I could join Galatasaray in the near future,” .

Galatasaray have been closely linked with Song over the last two-seasons and were believed to be one of those clubs he turned down to join the hammers.

The 26-year-old joined Barcelona from Arsenal for €19 million last season but the 27-year-old struggled for playing time.

Song is expected to leave Barcelona at the end of the season after failing to make an impact at the La Liga outfit and has three-years left on his contract at the Nou Camp.

  1. If this report is true, how much loyalty can we expect from a mercenary only here for the money with no concerns were we finish in the league
If true Mr Allardyce once again flatters to deceive.

  2. Surely this must be false Turkish hope,as he could have joined them instead of us jn the summer. But ive said it before foreign players with a few exceptions, are not as loyal to an English club as they have no real affinity towards them.Lets give him the benefit of the doubt, but in the same breath,it wouldnt ,surprise me.

  3. You’d expect him to say he’s been misquoted – but don’t hold your breath if you expect him to be here next year!
